Our SJA Student Council is holding a clothing drive from Monday, December 2- Friday, December 6. Please bring in gently used clothing that you no longer need. All donations will go to the Diabetes Association. Thank you!

On December 17, 2019, students from Grade 3 to Grade 8 will put on two performances at the St. Jude’s Academy Dome. Our afternoon performance will begin at 1:00 pm, with doors opening at 12:30. Our evening performance will begin at 6:30 pm, with doors opening at 6:15 pm. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. Please keep in mind that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the Dome.
For our evening performance, families are welcome to take our shuttle from St. Jude’s to the Dome and back. Shuttles will begin running from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Please meet in the main office.
We encourage all families to come bundled up to stay warm and cozy for the entire show. The students and teachers have put a tremendous amount of work into their performances and kindly ask that all families stay and enjoy the show until the end.

Today we began our lesson 15 spelling activities:
Spelling activities are due on Wednesday. Our spelling test will be on Thursday. We will be starting our next grammar lesson tomorrow.
We will continue working on our rough drafts for our second OWA task. Students also worked on their DRAs today. The students have made many improvements in their reading and have already had a lot of success with their Term 2 DRAs!

We had another full run through of the entire show from start to finish. This time we practiced in our costumes.
Tomorrow is the big day! We will performing twice tomorrow; our first performance will be at 1:00 pm, our second performance will be after school at 6:30 pm - doors open at 6:00 pm.
For the performance tomorrow, please ensure the following items are at school:
Girls - Black Shoes
- Hair in ponytails
Boys - Black Shoes.
Students may come to school in their gym uniforms to allow for quick changes.
All makeup for the show will be done at school and costumes will be ready at the school.
