We had a good conversation of how we should approach this unit with open-minds in order to remain respectful and caring towards our differences and also our similarities.
We began the unit by talking about what religions we practice (if they were comfortable enough to share with their classmates). The we talked about the things that we already know about religion and the things we are still wondering about religion and put them on our KWL chart.
Please encourage your child to bring in any items that they would like to put on display for our unit.
