Good Afternoon Families!
-Polar Expressions is back again this year and they are looking for students to have the chance to publish poems and short stories in an upcoming book. Information sheets have been sent. Students who are interested in this competition can do so on their own time, as class time will not be given. The deadline for poems is November 29th and the deadline for short stories is December 6th.
December Lunches - The lunch site is now open. It will close Wednesday, November 20th at 3:00pm
Special of the month: Spaghetti and Meatballs which is available every Friday.
All payments are to be made through quickbooks by December 6th.

Inquiry into Math:
We continued expanding our knowledge of circumference by making bubbles. The students blew bubbles on pieces of white paper and then mesaured across each circle to find the radius and the diameter. Then we used the formulas that we learned yesterday to find the circumference.
Tomorrow we will continue working with on understand the differences and similarities between the radius and diameter. We will also focus on how to use each formula.

Inquiry into Language:
Today we used our language period to perpare for our rehersal for the afternoon. The students really got into practicing their performance by coming up with more steps for their choreography.
All spelling activities are due on Wednesday. We will have our spelling test on Friday.
